ABOUT
Join us for an intimate and powerful evening at Just(Us) Dinners, where we center the lived experiences of Black folks through connection, conversation, and culture. This gathering, themed Selfhood: A Journey Toward Individual and Collective Identity, invites our community to unpack the complex layers of identity, healing, and self-discovery—both as individuals and as a collective.
Over a shared meal, we’ll engage in dialogue that addresses the unique struggles faced by Black people, exploring themes such as health consciousness, body awareness, and the sexualization of Black women. Artistic pieces including “Rain – Uplifting Women,” “Collosus – Body Dysmorphia,” and “Ballad of Gesebelle” will serve as catalysts for these conversations, offering emotional depth and creative perspective.
Background music and entertainment will complement the evening, creating a safe and affirming space for reflection, healing, and joy.
This event is a celebration of Black identity in all its forms. Come ready to eat, connect, reflect, and…
