Join us for our 3rd Just(US) Dinner where we will bring Black Folks from our community together to unpack the struggles and challenges that are unique to their lived experiences as Black Folks over dinner and movie.
This month we will be watching clips from the 2023, critically acclaimed film Sing Sing, a film centers on a group of incarcerated men involved in the creation of theatrical stage shows through the Rehabilitation Through the Arts program at Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison.*We will only be watching clips from the film so we encourage guests to either watch the film beforehad or following the event if interested.
Each 2 hour meal gathering will include a media moment to screen the film and a guided conversation and reflection led by a clinical psychologist who will hold group therapy styled sessions over the meal.
