The Kehrein Center is proud to receive a new 3-year, $40,000/year ($120,000 total) grant. This generous award comes to us via A Road Together (ART) — a partnership between the MacArthur Foundation and the Field Foundation of Illinois. This re-granting initiative’s goal is to advance racial and social equity by enabling more Chicagoans to dream and flourish through platforms for art and cultural expression in their communities. The Kehrein Center was one of 25 arts organizations selected by a diverse panel of 9 people across the city from 120 applicants for a 3-year grant.
