Introducing Kehrein Center's Communicators

Nailah Golden

Please join us in welcoming two new team members to the Kehrein Center for the Arts! Nailah Golden comes to the Kehrein Center to lead a rebranding effort, and will create new visual elements that communicate the mission & vision of the center to the world. Sophie Vodvarka began working with the Kehrein Center this past March, and is glad to continue her work this fall managing media outreach, the website, producing written content, and organizing other elements of the communications effort at the Kehrein Center.

Nailah is a digital media artist, born and based in North Lawndale, Chicago. She is joining the Kehrein Center family this September with five years of experience in the digital arts and community engagement. A recent graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design, Nailah holds degrees in both Graphic Design and Computation, Tech, + Culture. Through freelance design work, community work, and her project Trapfuturism™, she believes that the arts + technology are a gateway to a more beautiful future. With anything she does, Nailah’s mission is to create, hold, and amplify space for underrepresented communities within the digital-virtual world and beyond.
